Wyndham Championship Winning Formula

In 2007 the Wyndham Championship moved to August as the last FedEx Cup event before the playoff series making it an important qualifying tournament for the post-season playoffs. At 7,100 yards distance off the tee is pretty much irrelevant and like most Donald Ross layouts accuracy and in particular accuracy off the tee is important.

The course requires good course management and suits a player who plots his way around as opposed to ‘bombing’ it. First time winners are not uncommon.
